Thirty suburbs, grouped the way the roofs behave
We work across the Northern Beaches Council area. The suburb pages below are not interchangeable: a cliff-top house at Whale Beach, a 1950s brick-and-tile house on the Beacon Hill ridge and a low-pitch rebuild in the Warriewood Valley fail in different ways and get specified differently. Pick your suburb and you will find what we actually see there.

Manly and the harbour side
Ocean beaches on one side and North Harbour on the other, with steep blocks, narrow streets and a lot of strata roofing. Marine exposure without surf frontage still corrodes fixings, and access is usually the complication.
Manly · Fairlight · Balgowlah · Seaforth · Manly Vale
Freshwater through to Dee Why
The ocean-facing strip where salt does the most work. Original beach cottages next to rebuilt two-storey homes, lagoon flats behind the dunes, and rust that starts at the screw heads and the sheet ends.
Freshwater · Queenscliff · Curl Curl · North Curl Curl · Dee Why · Brookvale
The ridges and the Forest
Inland, higher, and up against Garigal National Park, the Manly Dam reserve and the bushland running toward Ku-ring-gai Chase. Here the problems are leaf load in valleys and gutters, ember exposure on bushfire-prone land, and whole streets of post-war tile roofs reaching the end of their pointing life together.
Narraweena · Cromer · Beacon Hill · Allambie Heights · Frenchs Forest · Belrose · Forestville
Collaroy to Mona Vale
The escarpment, the lagoon and the flats between them. Runoff concentrates off the high ground behind Collaroy and around Narrabeen Lagoon, so drainage faults turn into ceiling leaks faster here than anywhere else we work.
Collaroy · Narrabeen · Elanora Heights · Warriewood · Mona Vale
Pittwater and the northern peninsula
Two coastlines within a few hundred metres of each other, bush blocks dropping to the water, limited access and some of the most exposed roofs in Sydney. Specification matters more here than anywhere.
Bayview · Church Point · Newport · Bilgola · Avalon Beach · Whale Beach · Palm Beach
